The Bill Stewart Ride Sound
UPDATE: Since recording this video, I made a line of cymbals in this style that I call the "Labyrinth" series. reveriedrums.com/shop ("Timothy Roberts Cymbals" filter) Use Headphones for all the goodness! The audio has zero EQ on the overheads and the mics are placed from the listeners perspective. A couple notes: Bill Stewart's 22" ride cymbals weight between 2300-2600g (as he discussed in the interview with Quincy Davis aka "Q-Tip"). These are thinner (approx. 2100g for both). This is part of my efforts to mellow out the harshness than can come with rides designed in this way. Hope you enjoy! Timothy
