A Tribute to Emmett Ryker // Best of Me (The Virginian TV Series)

A tribute to one of my absolute favorite tv western heroes. Clu Gulager starred in The Virginian as Deputy/Sheriff Ryker from 1963-1968. Ryker was an outlaw until he “saw the light” & became a lawman. This character knows what it’s like to be on the wrong side of the law & does his best to understand the law while also feeling for those he brings to justice. The underrated Clu plays this character perfectly. The song is Best of Me by Michael Buble.
