Woman Sentenced After Urging Twin Sister To Take Fall For Fatal Crash
Samantha Peterson crashed into a horse-drawn Buggy used by the local Amish community. The accident left two children dead and injured two others. Peterson called her twin sister Sarah to rush to the scene of the accident. Samantha asked her twin to switch places and falsely tell police she was the one behind the wheel. Samantha was high on meth when the tragedy happened. Samantha was sentenced to four years in prison. Sarah was sentenced to three months for aiding and abetting.
