Can You Beat Mother 1 Without Equipment, PSI, Money, or Running?

MOTHER is among my favorite games produced for the NES, and is definitely overshadowed by it's sequels. It's difficulty, atmosphere and charm all fuse together to make an unforgettable RPG experience. What also makes for an unforgettable RPG experience is deleting all the equipment, never using a spell, and not spending any money. The only difference is the experience is horrible.
