🎸✨ World Guitar Day in Maracaibo – Tribute to Yorgos Foudoulis ✨🎸 The majestic Teatro Baralt was the setting for an unforgettable recital in celebration of World Guitar Day, in homage to its founder, Yorgos Foudoulis. Under the direction of Maestro Lenin Barceló, along with his talented students María Gabriela Hernández, Carla Villanueva, Pedro Bargas, and Elian Oliveros, the José Luis Paz Conservatory of Music and the CMSB joined forces, with the support of the Zulia State Government and the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela. 🎶 Program performed: Rebetiko – Yorgos Foudoulis: a work that evokes Greek cultural roots, with the guitar as the voice of the people. Its nostalgic and passionate character connects tradition and modernity, becoming the heart of the recital. - Serenade – Franz Schubert: a piece of delicate romantic beauty, where the guitar translates Schubert's tenderness and lyricism into an intimate and universal song. The soloists included: Elián Oliveros (Waltz No. 2 by Cisneros and Waltz No. 1 by Antonio Lauro). Carla Villanueva (Waltz No. 2 by Antonio Lauro and Marita by Yorgos Foudoulis). Maria G.
