At Springhill Montessori School, we believe that education goes beyond academics, it begins with the heart. This sign language performance of Heal the World, presented on our Moving Up Ceremony and last day of school, is a reflection of that belief, quiet, sincere, and full of meaning. We also try our best to perform in sign language as a way of teaching our children empathy through inclusion and a true sense of belonging for everyone. In every gesture, there is awareness. In every movement, there is empathy. And in every child, there is hope for a kinder, more compassionate world.
