Yosemite's South Face of Washington Column - (I Spent the Night On a Big Wall!!)

My First Big Wall! Yosemite is such an amazing place, and I have wanted to climb a big wall ever since I first laid eyes on El Capitan in Yosemite Valley! The South Face of Washington Column is known as Yosemite's "Easiest Bigwall". With only 10 pithes and the amazing Dinner Ledge to spend the night on, it's definitely easy to see the appeal! My goal is to climb the nose of el cap, and this was a great place to start the process! We spent two days climbing the route, Day 1 we climbed pitches 1-6 and went back down to the ledge to spend the night. The next morning, we climbed pitches 7-10 and rappelled back down to the ground to meet the family. This was such an amazing experience, and such a special way to spend time together.
