The Seek Compact, this one is the least expensive of the 3 and is currently selling for about $250 on Amazon. The resolution is at 206 by 156, a 36 degree field of view and can view a distance of 1,000 ft. Now for our use case, smartphone repair, the viewing distance probably doesn’t matter, but it’s there in the specs. Then we have the Compact XR at $297. It also has the same 206 by 156 resolution, but it has a more narrow viewing angle of 20 degrees, and a viewing distance is 1,800 feet. Then we have the Compact Pro, this is the one I use and you’ve seen in my previous youtube videos, which sells for $458 as of today, it has a higher resolution of 320 by 240, a viewing angle of 32 degrees and 1800 ft viewing distance. One tip I would give you guys, when you’re on Amazon browsing these cameras, scroll down a little bit below where the price is and you’ll often find a super discounted Seek Camera, because it’s used or open box. The one i’m personally using, I actually bought it used and saved about $50 at that time. In summary, the Compact is the lowest price, the XR is basically the same as the Compact, but with a longer viewing distance, which technically doesn’t really matter for us in Smartphone Repair.
