Josefov Meadows – a Bird Paradise Near the Town of Jaroměř

The 2014–2021 programming period of the EEA and Norway Grants has come to an end, and with it, our documentary mini-series. In the final episode, we will symbolically take you to the celebratory conclusion of one of our most remarkable projects. Not far from Jaroměř lies a place teeming with life. The Josefov Meadows Bird Park is home to hundreds of animal species. Thanks to the support of the Norway Grants and the State Environmental Fund, a new central birdwatching area has been created here. However, nature conservation is not just about financial support—it is also about the dedication and hard work of hundreds of volunteers who have fallen in love with these wetlands. #norwaygrants #czenvironment
