This time, we will be taking a walk to "mushroom," a famous store that shines brightly in the vintage world, and "restore," famous for its superb repair techniques, both located in Yahiko Village, Niigata Prefecture. Mushroom is a famous store that Niigata is proud of, run by the brothers Kagami and Yu, the owners of Strong Style, who purchased items in the United States every month from the time of its founding in 2002 until before COVID-19. Looking at the items, I was honestly scared because they were full of super vintage items. In 2020, they moved from Niigata City to Yahiko Village, and I had vaguely thought that I would like to visit them someday if I had the chance. Meanwhile, thanks to the connection made by Takahashi, a reader who had been following Forza and Tsubo Walk, and because I have always loved shrines, I decided that I had to go on a walk to Tsubo. First, we paid our respects at Yahiko Shrine, the shrine of Oyahiko-sama, located on Mt. Yahiko, and prepared ourselves before heading to Mushroom. However, Watanabe Atsushi, Nabe Atsushi, and Camera Otsubo were amazed by the wonderful buildings, local specialties, and people that we visited. We knew that Yahiko Shrine was one of the most powerful spots in Niigata, but this was also a powerful spot in the vintage world. A spring wells up in a place surrounded by great nature. And the most comfortable thing was the friendly atmosphere of the shop staff. Don't be scared, just go and see for yourself.
