Islay's Ardnahoe - My Dream Distillery?

Islay has a new distillery. Ardnahoe. Conceived and executed by Hunter Laing, an independent bottler with family ties to the island, from first announcement it's been an exciting project. Whisky enthusiasts have hoped since it's inception that a "craft" style presentation and attitude towards production could be realised, as naturally as possible. During my following of the distillery's progress I often found myself considering - this could actually be my dream distillery. I couldn't pass up the invitation to join the press day on the eve of the official opening. Could it be all it promised? This video was made with help from the team at Ardnahoe, but it remains a personal project and is fully my idea and concept from start to finish. I'm grateful for the use of some of the video and image assets from the team. The majority is my own.
