Henry Cavill's interview about be an ambassador for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust Superman actor and Jersey native Henry Cavill says he is "enormously proud" to be an ambassador for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. The actor, currently on a break from filming Batman v Superman, said he visited the wildlife park as a child. He said trust staff do the "seemingly impossible" and he was humbled to help. As an ambassador for Durrell, he plans to visit some of the charity's 50 field programmes around the world. Lee Durrell, honorary trust director and wife of the late Gerald Durrell, said she was thrilled at Mr Cavill's support. Durrell was founded as a conservation charity over 50 years ago by author and naturalist Gerald Durrell.
