I Maxed Out My Credit Card on This Copart Porsche

I bought this 2009 Porsche Cayman S (987.2) from Copart after it had been written off, and instead of putting it back to standard, I’m turning it into the ultimate GT4-inspired track car. In this first episode I collect the car, assess the damage, strip it down and start finding out what it’s really going to take to save it. Along the way we uncover hidden problems, inspect the engine for the common 987.2 issues, and begin planning the rebuild. This won’t be a quick flip. The goal is to build a reliable, track-focused Cayman that can take on some of the best circuits in the UK. To make things even more special, my 3-year-old daughter Isabella is helping me with the rebuild. She’s getting involved wherever she can, learning about cars one bolt at a time. If you enjoy Porsche builds, track cars, Copart rebuilds and honest DIY restorations, make sure you subscribe because this is only the beginning.
