Songs from Big Yellow: 1986 Demo 1

I'll be posting some of my oldest recordings on the channel over the next couple of months. I'm not doing anything fancy but simply playing old cassette tapes and CDs directly from my big yellow boombox to video. The cassettes are old and well played so audio quality is not always the best, but it works for simple cataloging. These songs were recorded in 1986 in Granite Falls, Washington with my brother Paul Erickson on an old 4-track reel-to-reel recorder. At the time, I was primarily a drummer and lyricist. Paul did the rest of the instrumentation and produced the recordings. I helped with background vocals. All songs were co-written by Paul Erickson and Dan Steven Erickson. My younger brother Pete Erickson helped with "Nicole."
