In this video, I'll share with you the first impressions I had of my new Peavey Vypyr VIP 1 amp when I initially tested it. There are many great features about the upgraded Vypyr VIP (as opposed to Vypyr original) series of amps, including: Familiar Vypyr look and feel Amazing Tube-like tones Tons of great effects and amp models The ability to play not only electric guitar but acoustic and bass guitar—in one amp! 20 Watts is the basic VIP 1, as opposed to 15 Watts for the original series And much more! When I originally purchased it, I compared it against other big name brand amps in the same solid-state, multi-effect category like Line 6, Marshall, Blackstar, Fender, etc., and Peavey won hands-down with it's amazing tone, playability, and user-friendliness.
