Standard Single Piston Brake Job | Pad and Rotors | Cadillac CTS

In this video I upgrade the pads and rotors on the rear wheels of my 2015 Cadillac CTS VSport. The brakes in the back are single piston floating caliper type and are very common on the front and rear of many cars. This video covers in depth when to change brake parts, choosing pads and rotors, and a detailed how-to on installing new parts. Note that some cars have a caliper piston that must be TURNED back into the caliper, not compressed. If so you will see slots or holes on the piston and will require a special took from your autoparts store.
