I am happy to share a very special memory from my childhood. This video is from a dance competition where I won 1st prize, performing one of my favourite abhinaya pieces, “Ki Sobha Go Kunje.” I was nearly 8 years old at the time. This composition was very close to my heart because, along with its beautiful abhinaya, it also included several complex talas such as Tripata, Jhula, Ada Tali, Jhampa, and more. I remember taking immense joy in dancing through these rhythmic patterns.. you will feel it when you watch the video. Looking back, I realise how rich and blessed my childhood was, all thanks to my Gurus. There is also another version of this piece choreographed by Smt. Padma Shri Kumkum Mohanty.
