Tabitha (also known by her Greek name, Dorcas) is one of the Bible's greatest examples of compassionate service. Known for her generosity, kindness, and tireless care for the poor, widows, and those in need, her life reflected the love of Christ through action. When she died, the grief of those she had helped revealed the incredible impact of her faithfulness, and God used the Apostle Peter to miraculously raise her back to life.
