Piano Tutorial | Intermezzo | Manuel Ponce | Something a little different

I first heard the Intermezzo by Manual Ponce when I came across a video of it being played by Lang Lang. I immediately fell in love with it and decided to learn it for myself. It is a less heard piece and so makes a nice change. This tutorial will give you some practice ideas to try out and also the different areas that might need a little extra attention (at least they did for me). I mention a couple of other videos that you might find helpful whilst learning this piece. One on finding pieces with a similar technical difficulty to surmount that you can practice in parallel. I have found that doing this actually makes it both easier to grasp and also gets a more reliable result.    • Piano Practice | How to progress faster | ...   Also, I mention my video on the Bach/Siloti prelude which gives advice on how we might go about shaping a Left Hand melody.    • Online Piano Performance Workshop Experien...   I wholeheartedly recommend you check out Lang Lang playing this - there are two different versions, and both lovely:    • Lang Lang, Manuel María Ponce - Intermezzo...      • Video   If you'd like to hear how far I got with it, then you can see my performance on my Facebook Page:   / 242717713962898   EQUIPMENT: Fully details of all equipment used are available on my blog at the address below: http://tommyspianocorner.com/youtube-...
