Best Ambient Synth Shootout #2: Yamaha TG33 - Song 2
I started the shootout with the Yamaha TG33. I bought it cheap in mint condition a while ago, but never used it much so far. Well, that gave me a good opportunity to better familarize with it :-) For the second song I used the Yamaha TG33 together with the following FX pedals: Digitech Polara, Digitech Obcura, and Alesis Philtre. The signal goes via a small Behringer mixer straight into the pc. To create the complete song I recorded several tracks, each played live via a Miditech keyboard or an Arturia Beatstep Pro hardware sequencer. The final song was then mastered with a bit EQ'ing and compression on some tracks. Well, I decided to go back to the basics but at the same time make something useful for the synth community and do a kind of own little competition (I like competitions;-). What's my best synth for ambient music :-) Check out my Best Ambient Synth Shootout Playlist: • Best Ambient Synth Shootout If you like my stuff, please support me on http://synthroton.bandcamp.com/ Enjoy :-) PS: Sorry for no live video of the song creation this time. Somehow I couldn't find my camera after moving to my new home. Photos and video I did later for this video creation. So, please focus just on the music itself and the sounds :-)
