It's June on our Australian 1-Acre homestead... and our plans for upping our sustainability game have taken a big step forward. A team of arborists took down a dangerous gum tree - so now there's 2 big trees we can mill into timber - which is happening soon with a portable mill . But we're also preparing the garden for going away for a break - because breaks are important to avoid farming, homestead and creative project burnout.
