Framing to Sleep Sideways in a Transit Van | 2021 Ford Transit Van Build Conversion Ep. 11

In the 11th video in our 2021 Ford Transit van conversion series, we built plywood boxes that will recess into our walls so that we can fit a queen bed sideways and sleep side-to-side. We knew the Promaster is generally known as the widest van and best for tall people sleeping side to side, but we needed the added height of the Transit, and were determined to make it work to make more room in our van (and without pricy flares, if we could help it). We ended up with just over 75 inches of space to fit our bed, so we would say we made it work!
