Located near the Fish Auction Place or Nusantara Fisheries Port on the North Coast of Central Java, 4.5 km from the city center/main train station, this beach covers 1.5 hectares. Formerly known as Pasir Kencana Beach, however, since its complete renovation and reopening to visitors, its name has changed slightly and it is now known as Pasir Kencana Beach Tourism Park. With the completion of the renovation by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), this tourist spot in the city of batik has become a new favorite not only for Pekalongan residents but also for surrounding areas such as Pemalang, Batang, and Pekalongan Regency. Pasir Kencana Beach itself is the site of various arts and cultural festivals, such as the Peh Cun tradition by ethnic Chinese communities, the Nyadran tradition by traditional Javanese communities, and the Syawalan tradition. This is because this tourist attraction offers a variety of facilities, including a swimming pool and jogging track, a cafe, a prayer room, and a variety of culinary delights. Opening hours are from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The entrance fee is set at 15,000 rupiah on weekdays, 20,000 rupiah on weekends, and 25,000 rupiah on national holidays per person, including insurance. Pasir Kencana Tourism Park offers several attractions and supporting facilities, including an entertainment stage, prayer room, cultural stage, sand play area, swimming pool, and jogging track. One of the most popular tourist attractions is the jogging track, which offers a beautiful setting. If you're tired, you can stop by the cafe or other food stalls. With its various adequate supporting facilities, Pasir Kencana Tourism Park always ensures a pleasant stay for visitors. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of culinary delights here such as pecel, pindang tetel, meatballs, chicken noodles, pempek, pulled coffee, Taliwang chicken, from traditional to contemporary culinary delights.
