1985 Big Red 200ES Restoration: Part 1 - Tear Down, Source Parts, Powder Coat, Rattle Can, Prep Work

Well, I didn't know what direction to take it... just deep clean and reassemble, or strip it all down and make it look new again. Well, after letting it speak to me a little bit, it was determined that it needed the latter. So, we pulled the motor and air box and wiring harness and every other little thing... stripped it all down... powdered some stuff... painted some stuff... had new decals made... worked at my typical snail's pace... and here we are... right at the point of assembly, but not assembled yet. That will be Part 2! I've intentionally cut some corners. I've done some other neat stuff I've never done before. I've tracked down some cool parts... and I'm Teeing it up for very busy week to get this thing ready for Trike Fest. Stay tuned for the conclusion next Sunday! #honda #bigred #restoration
