A Weekend at Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, A Living Museum of Antique Airplanes

The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome is a living museum of antique airplanes located in the Hudson Valley region of New York. The collection of aircraft is quite large and each weekend from mid-June thru mid-October the Aerodrome offers airshows. The Saturday show features pioneer airplanes and Golden Age airplanes. The Sunday show focuses on WWI aircraft with a fun drama show along with the flying. In addition to the air shows, the Aerodrome offers several buildings/hangars containing vintage airplanes on display. I've been attending shows at the Aerodrome since 1972! Lots of fun. On Sunday, one of the biplanes in the show bumped another biplane causing an engine issue forcing the airplane to make an attempt at landing early. The pilot fell a bit short and landed in the trees.
