MYSTERY QUEST: JACK THE RIPPER (2009)
Yet another from my collection of tapes and DVDs. It looks rather like all the others and uses the two big names from back then: Stewart Evans and Don Rumbelow. At least it goes with people who know what they're talking about. Yet again, however, the programme treads the same old ground of suspectology and says things that have been known for decades like they're revelations. I don't go along with any of this stuff - as always, the programme has an agenda and tells half the story to fit its narrative. A lot of the stuff about Tumblety is urban myth stated as fact.
