Day 2 of the 6th Hamsadhwani Festival 2026 continued the vibrant journey of Indian classical music, dance, and cultural excellence. The festival brought together talented artists, dedicated students, respected gurus, and art lovers to celebrate our rich cultural heritage. The evening was filled with mesmerizing performances, soulful melodies, graceful dance presentations, and inspiring moments that reflected the spirit of Hamsadhwani. We express our heartfelt gratitude to all performers, guests, supporters, and audience members who made this day memorable. ✨ Preserving Tradition ✨ Celebrating Talent ✨ Inspiring Future Generations Saraswati Sangita Mahavidyalay is a premier institution dedicated to promoting Odissi dance and music. It was founded by Sri Dhruba Charan Panigrahi on the 26th of January 1997 on the occasion of Republic Day of India in Bhadrak, Odisha; to transcend all elite boundaries of its originated town (Bhadrak) and make Odissi dance and music accessible to people from all economic condition and social activities. The main motto of Saraswati Sangita Mahavidyalay is preserving the invaluable indigenous dance form Odissi to keep educating people on its importance in upholding our identity. A part from dancing, students here is trained under percussion Tabla, Hindustani Vocal. Moreover, theory classes for the development of Odissi aesthetics and a grooming class is also given on a regular basis. On the decision of above well wishers this institution has named “SARASWATI SANGITA MAHAVIDYALAY” as Late Saraswati Panigrahi was the wife of Dhruba Charan Panigrahi.
