İlk Hristiyanların Gizlendiği Yer mi? Konya / Cihanbeyli'de Yeraltı Şehri Keşfi

This week, we turned our route towards Bulduk Village in Cihanbeyli district of Konya. Following tips from the region, we investigated and discovered a massive underground city believed to date back to the Early Byzantine period. During our exploration, we found animal shelters, water cisterns, complex interconnected tunnel systems, and a huge ventilation shaft approximately 40 meters deep. We entered this shaft and descended into the mysterious underground structure. This structure, thought to have been inhabited or used as a refuge by early Christian communities, amazed us with its architecture and size. The corridors and rooms stretching meters below the ground shed light on the unknown history of the region. Many thanks to Ethem Bey, the headman of Bulduk Village.
