Adventure on Hell's Backbone Road

Hell's Backbone Road On a summer day in Escalante, Utah Mark Austin took us on an adventure to see Hells Backbone Road. First, we stop at the Circle of Friends petroglyphs. These petroglyphs are located on a cliff setting just west of Escalante. Then we traveled high to North Creek Reservoir and Posey Lake, high to the north of Escalante. Then it was on to the famous Hell's Backbone Road and to Boulder. We got to see the Box and Death Hollow wilderness and the spectacular scenery it offers. From there it was back to Escalante on scenic Highway 12. It was a great day seeing awesome sights.
