Carretera CA-4 Viajando de San Pedro Sula hasta Santa Rosa de Copán HONDURAS

This video shows the entire highway section from northern Honduras to the west. The CA-4 Western Highway project in Honduras consists of the construction of 106 km from Chamelecón, in the municipality of San Pedro Sula, to La Entrada in the department of Copán. It is divided into two sections. The first section, approximately 24 km long, runs from Chamelecón to Naco and will be a four-lane highway with two lanes in each direction. The remaining 82 km consist of the rehabilitation of the existing two-lane road. The project objectives include the reconstruction and rehabilitation of approximately 106 kilometers of the CA-4; the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the major and minor drainage systems in the area; maintenance of the approximately 106 km stretch of road from Chamelecón to La Entrada, Copán, during the concession period; reducing vehicle operating costs and travel times for users; and improving the comfort and safety of both passenger and freight transport.
