Fishing Lake Powell, Summer Striper and Catfish Action, Late July

Wanting to get into some Catfish and Striper boils, I headed back to Lake Powell in the depth of July. Fishing on Powell in the summer can be an experience. The heat, the crowds, the changing conditions from the spring, and so on... What you generally can count on is good Catfishing, or so I presumed. Using chicken livers I did well bringing in some nice Cats staying up late at night. Prior to that I chased a small Striper boil around Rock Creek till nightfall. Prior to that I trolled and pitched bringing in plenty of Smallies. The following morning I searched for boils but didn't find any so I travelled up lake a bit and found schooling Striper and Smallies for more action. I was pleasantly surprised at my success on this trip! Thanks for watching, Tight Lines! Like the Video(s)? Hit That SUBSCRIBE!!! Really Helps the Channel!!
