Anita Mui’s final farewell performance 2003 (English subtitled)

On 5 September 2003 Anita Mui publicly announced she had cervical cancer. She held a series of eight shows at the Hong Kong coliseum in November 2003. She made a symbolic act of ‘marrying the stage’ which was accompanied by her hit song ‘Song of the Setting Sun’ (The theme song to ‘A Better Tomorrow 3: Love & Death in Saigon’). She died on 30 December 2003, aged 40.
