I left Russia
I'm not sure building an independent future in Russia makes strategic sense for me anymore, given the ongoing "situation." Over the past few years, Russia's legal and information environment has changed dramatically, making it increasingly difficult for independent journalists and YouTube creators to feel secure, even about having access to the internet in the near future. It's about an entire system of incentives that has fundamentally reshaped the landscape for the last independent voices in Russia. Ultimately, I decided to explore other options and see whether there's an alternative way for me to live, even on a limited budget.
