Later, I prepare a special lunch for guests featuring Afghan Qabili Pulao, baked chicken, and red beans curry. This vlog is all about slow moments, homemade food, and finding beauty in everyday life. If you enjoy silent vlogs, cozy cooking, slow living, and aesthetic home routines, I hope this video brings you comfort and calm 🤍 Thank you for watching and supporting my journey. 🍰 Red Velvet Cake Recipe 🥣 Dry Ingredients • 1¼ cups all-purpose flour • 1½ tbsp cornflour • 1½ tbsp cocoa powder • ½ tsp baking powder • ¼ tsp baking soda • ¼ tsp salt • 1 cup sugar 🧈 Wet Ingredients • 3 tbsp butter (softened) • ¼ cup oil • 2 eggs (room temperature) • 1½ tbsp white vinegar • 1½ tbsp red liquid food colour • ½ cup buttermilk (see below) ⸻ 🥛 Homemade Buttermilk • ½ cup milk • 1 tbsp white vinegar Mix and rest for 5 minutes until slightly curdled. ⸻ 👩‍🍳 Method 1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line a cake tin. 2. Sieve all dry ingredients together and keep aside. 3. In a bowl, beat sugar, butter, and oil until light and creamy. 4. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition. 5. Add 1½ tbsp vinegar and mix. 6. Add red food colour and mix until evenly combined. 7. Add half of the dry ingredients and gently mix. 8. Pour in the buttermilk and mix lightly. 9. Add the remaining dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined. (Do not overmix.) 10. Pour batter into the prepared tin. 11. Bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. 12. Let the cake cool completely before slicing or frosting. ⸻ Cream Cheese Frosting: Ingredients • 200g cream cheese • 100g unsalted butter • 1½–2 cups icing sugar • ½ cup double/whipping cream • 1 tsp vanilla Method 1. Beat butter until fluffy. 2. Add cream cheese, mix briefly. 3. Add icing sugar + vanilla. 4. Pour in cold cream, whip 1–2 min until fluffy. 5.
