On the afternoon of May 31, 2026, at the Moi Moi hamlet cultural center in Muong Vang commune, Phu Tho province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Muong Vang commune organized the "Month of Listening to the People" program in 2026 and launched the QR code for the email address "Muong Vang Commune Digital Fatherland Front – Listening to the People's Opinions". Attending the program were Ms. Bui Thi Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune; Mr. Quach Khang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune; representatives of political and social organizations, the Front Work Committee of residential areas, along with a large number of officials, union members, association members and people from Moi Moi and Sao Mong hamlets. In his opening remarks, Mr. Quach Khang emphasized that the purpose of the "Month of Listening to the People" is to enhance the role and responsibility of the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations in listening to the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people; Timely compilation, reflection, and recommendations to the Party Committee and government are crucial for resolving issues of public concern. Simultaneously, this contributes to promoting grassroots democracy, strengthening the close relationship between the Party, government, and people, and building the image of Front Committee officials who are close to the people, understand their needs, respect their rights, and are responsible to them. During the program, delegates and the public received a general overview of the local socio-economic development, national defense, and security situation in the past period; key tasks for the future; and issues of public concern. In a democratic and open atmosphere, many opinions and recommendations from the people related to people's lives, economic development, new rural construction, transportation infrastructure, the environment, and social welfare policies were directly exchanged with leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and other political and social organizations. All opinions were recorded, addressed, or incorporated for compilation and submission to competent authorities for consideration and resolution. An important part of the program was the launch of the QR code for the email mailbox “Muong Vang Commune Digital Front – Listening to the People's Opinions”. This is a model applying digital technology to create an additional channel for receiving information, feedback, and suggestions from the people in a convenient, quick, and effective way, requiring only a smartphone to participate. By scanning the QR code posted at the Commune Public Administration Service Center, community cultural centers, markets, health stations, and schools, people can submit their opinions anytime, anywhere. The feedback will be received directly through the electronic system, helping the Commune Fatherland Front to promptly understand the people's thoughts and aspirations and forward them to the competent authorities for processing according to regulations. The "Muong Vang Commune Digital Front - Listening to the People's Opinions" model is implemented in conjunction with the "3 closes" principle: close to the people, close to the grassroots, close to the digital space; the "5 musts" principle: must listen, must dialogue, must set an example, must take responsibility, must report results; and the "4 no's" principle: no formalism, no avoidance, no shirking responsibility, and no misuse of function. This contributes to promoting digital transformation in the activities of the Front system, strengthening interaction between the government and the people, and promoting the people's right to participate in building the Party, government, and political system at the grassroots level.
