The Odisha Government has announced free admissions for students from Kindergarten (KG) to Postgraduate (PG) level in a major Cabinet decision aimed at expanding access to education. While admission fees were already waived from Class I to Class VIII, the benefit has now been extended from Class VIII to PG. The decision has been widely welcomed across various sections of society.
