The Value of Libery--A Glenn Rawson FIreside

Tonight I will share six stories and two sessions in the scriptures—something a little different. The first story is about the man who refused to betray Joseph Smith in June 1844—William Draper. The next story is about Emily Partridge Smith and her recollection of the day of the martyrdom. A very revealing account. Then is DC 136. Then we will discuss a moment when the Latter-day Saints were deprived of all their rights as American citizens—Executive Order 44. Then we will quote the Declaration of Independence itself and finally, a moment in history when it is revealed clearly that the God of this Land is Jesus Christ and we are a free people because of Him. Then 1 Nephi 13. Hope we see you there.
