Ohe Vaisnava Thakura, lyrics and translation "Ohe Vaisnava Thakura" is a very nice bhakti song composed by Bhaktivinoda Thakura and included in His work called "Saranagati" (Process of Surrender) with the name Bhajana Lalasa Song 7. Unlike Gitavali where the Lord and His many forms are glorified, Saranagati is primarily in the mode of complete surrender and humility. Bhaktivinoda Thakur (1838 – 1914) was an important Hindu philosopher, Guru and spiritual reformer of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. He wrote more than 100 books to reintroduce the pure teachings of Lord Chaitanya, lost at that time. Bhaktivinoda Thakura also discovered the real birthplace of Lord Chaitanya.
