We Traveled 7 Hours To Reach Kerala's Hidden Paradise

After exploring Kerala's hidden villages and waterfalls, our journey took us to another incredible destination — Vattavada. Starting from Ernakulam, we travelled for several hours through Munnar's beautiful mountain roads, tea plantations, forests, and landscapes before finally reaching Vattavada. But the journey didn't end there. To reach our stay, we had to complete a one-hour trek through forests surrounded by complete silence, birds, greenery, and mountains. For the next 24 hours, this place became our home. We stayed at Lofty Trails, explored the surrounding forests, searched for sunrise points, walked without any destination, climbed trees, enjoyed local experiences, spent the night in tents, sat around a bonfire, and experienced a side of Kerala that most tourists never get to see.
