I Stayed In a Soviet Sanatorium For 3 Days!! (like stepping back in time)

A few years ago I received a book for christmas about central asia and the Issyk-kul region of Kyrgyzstan was featured, as was its soviet sanatoriums, and ever since then, it's been on my bucket list to stay in one and experience it for myself! I was very lucky to be able to make that wish come true in the town of Cholpon Ata where I stayed at the sanatorium there for 3 days. it was quite a surreal experience - I was the only tourist there, and it was really like going back in time.
