Benchmade | 940 Osbourne *** UPDATE - I have found the Benchmade toggle baggie that it comes with 🙌🏼 it’s just soft polishing closet material (same as like a glasses lens cloth) with a drawstring and toggle on the entrance. *** I actually came across a clone of this knife a brought it to see if i would actually like the use of it, ie the axis lock and the thin ish blade ect. I did indeed love using it! So much so that i went a brought the real deal ! I am for the most part very happy with it. i say the most part, because if you watched to the end of the video you will know why. However this does not affect the performace in any way whatsoever, it purely aestetics but ill just change it at some point anyway. The scales are anodised aluminum green with that special something coating that feels very smooth and quite soft to the touch. It does prevent against scuffs for the most part as my knife came back from Heinnie Haynes poorly packed and with scuff marks all over it, which luckily just rubbed off. A token gesture of care taken on their behalf i must say. The s30v is a steel i have had the pleasure of using before and am quite happy if i used this steel for my everyday carry for a very long time. I have not needed to sharpen this since it had arrived brand spanking new from the box (even though its 8 moths old). The jimping on here even though is recessed still works rather well, i belive that is because of the other jimping that basically is a finger choil. Attack that with a bit of a pinch when you grip it, bobs your uncle the jimping seems to work alright ! Its not the most amazing however it does work.
