Restarting (extending) a Dexcom G6 Sensor through iPhone

Theresa Bowling Jones...... I don’t think it’s already been 10 days already. Hopefully this is in time, and makes enough sense, to help you on your next attempt. I learned these steps from my girl, Joanne, and I’ve been using them at the end of every sensor. The steps are as follows: 1. In Dexcom app on my phone, I select “settings” 2. Scroll to the bottom and select “stop sensor” 3. Once sensor is stopped, select “home” (if you don’t already see the option for a New Sensor) 4. Select “New Sensor” 5. Select “No Code”, and continue to follow it through the questions until “Start Sensor” appears 6. Select “Start Sensor” 7. Start Timer for 15 MINUTES 8. At the completion of the 15 minutes, repeat steps 1-4 9. This time select “Code” and input code from current sensor 10. Continue through questions until “Start Sensor” appears and select. Because I’m technologically challenged in the worst way, I had to do this in two parts. This is because I do not know how to edit videos. I’m not proud. As soon as I get my life in order, I’ll figure that out. Until then, two parts. 😁
