Summary: Bucky is the son of an Ambassador, and while his father knows he’s gay, he doesn't approve, and forces him to play the part, so to speak. He’s been happy to put on a show for both his father and the cameras, but as his feelings for Steve grow it’s not so easy. Steve is growing more and more disillusioned with being a secret. Bucky’s father hasn't been fooled for a minute, and wants him to break things off with Steve, but he won’t. When Steve finds out what happened, he’s pissed. Enough is enough. He goes to see Bucky’s father and tells him ‘Never contact Bucky again, ever’.
