1990, Countryfile In Scilly

Aired just over 30 years ago, this months Scilly movie takes us back to 1990. John Craven presents Countryfile in Scilly. The islands were grappling with the hefty problems of waste disposal, a water shortage following a very dry year and the question of whether to extend the runway. As always lots of familiar faces and memories as well as the weather with John Kettleeeeeeeeeeey (who's a weatherman). Due to copywrite the sound goes it a bit funny in the middle where it's removed a song, and the overall quality has been lowered as youtube did its re-encoding as it took the song out, but still a great watch.
