The town of Autlán de la Grana will henceforth be named Autlán de Navarro, in memory of the illustrious General Paulino Navarro, who died in the line of duty defending the institutions of the Mexican Republic. It is also the birthplace of the great guitarist and singer-songwriter Carlos Santana.
