5239 Goliath Springs Into Action: Dartmouth and Paignton Steam Railway - 2025

A short trip to the English Riviera, to the Dartmouth Steam Railway. Steam returned to the English Riviera a few weeks ago, but a clear Saturday to catch GWR 5239 Goliath charging up the gradients is worth heading out for. The day went uninterrupted; the only surprise was the closed Higher Dartmouth Ferry. English Riviera Express railtours to Kingswear start in May. 5029 Nunney Castle is expected to lead some of the tours.
