Empress has built the Tremolo2 on this time-tested foundation, taking the original's pristine analog signal path and digital functionality, and adding a range of new features, including the ability to save 8 presets using the new Save button. The Tremolo2 also sports a new control port, letting the user command the pedal using external tap, MIDI, control voltage, or an expression pedal. Just like the original, the Tremolo2 still features 3 modes of operation, 3 selectable waveforms, 8 selectable rhythms, and 12dB of clean gain at output to combat the perceived volume loss that plagues many lesser trem pedals. The Empress Tremolo2 is made in Canada, and features either buffered or True Bypass switching!
