Class 423 '4-VEP' EMU No. 3417 'Gordon Pettitt' would make the visit to Hampshire, courtesy of the Bluebell Railway and Southern Electric Traction Group. Based at Strawberry Hill Depot, the unit returned to traffic in 2024, following major repairs. Joining the EMU was Class 33 No. 33108.
