The Witch of the Westmorland

Folk ballad set in my native Lake District, originally written by Archie Fisher in 1976 and famously sung by Stan Rogers in 1979. This is my own arrangement, mainly drawing from Stan's version which omits a few of the verses of Fisher's original for brevity's sake, but with some artistic touches of my own (and a subtle nod to a famous musical theatre number that is also witch-themed, special prize to anyone who can spot it) I wanted to do a simple quick video, so it's all done in one take with just the one camera-mounted mic, so apologies that the vocals are sometimes much quieter than the guitar.
