Michel CATTY, known as MICHOU, transformed his Parisian restaurant in Pigalle into a cabaret with the help of two friends, Eugène DUROC, a dry cleaner, and Lucien LONCETEAU, a bartender. Michou offered burlesque shows consisting of song parodies, lip-synced by transvestites. The interview with the three men is supplemented by excerpts from their performance.
